One may argue that, “One can not, not communicate“. While this may be true it is amazing how many companies can use help in this arena. It’s not that they don’t know how to write or convey a message. It’s that they take “no” for an answer. This is unacceptable, at least for us.
Communications and understanding it is the last step before Advertising, Sales and Marketing it.
It is always useful to give you tools to make your point and make the changes you know need to be made. Having a great message is simply not enough. You need the precision of language patterns that are guaranteed to bypass the critique and judgement of the reader or person you are speaking to.
Once this is done, they can now hear what it is you have to say.
Email marketing and blogs allow your prospects to engage you in a conversation. They’ll tell you what they want and how they want it. What happen is many cases is that someone doing the selling misses this critical piece of the puzzle. It’s also important, to understand and then demonstrate what they have responded to. These are all indicators for closing the deal.
Most marketers make the mistake of thinking social media is a tool for talking. For distributing messages far and wide, and measuring the response that comes back, the internet is a direct response playground. Marketers still have an unclear picture as to how this works.
Social web is simply the most powerful market research tool you will ever use. In the wrong hands it is a absolute disaster. In the right hands, it’s a wonder beyond wonders.
